COGA’s Purpose: Prospering Through Unity

Prospective Members and Alliance Partners,

The oil and gas industry continues to be the focus of the world’s attention, and will be for years to come. As energy demands continue to rise, the price and availability of crude oil is a key strategic and economic factor for every nation. In addition, the endless variety of petroleum-based products and derivatives are essential to nearly all people and industries around the world.

Rising demands will require expanded capacities, improved capabilities and continuous technological advancements in the production, processing and logistics of petroleum products worldwide. Given this scenario, the outlook for the Oil & Gas Industry will improve in the foreseeable future, with increasing investment and development at all levels of the supply and value chains.

In Malaysia, increases in domestic capital investment by Petronas and many other producers will result in greater potential and expanded contracts for service providers and suppliers to this dynamic growth sector.

However, in order to survive and succeed as individual participants, it is imperative that we synergize and combine our resources and capabilities to meet these challenges and compete more effectively.

COGA was established to serve this purpose. As an alliance of companies with common interests and concerns, we are empowered to capture and serve a broader range of opportunities and represent your interests to influence policies and decision-making. We are also able to leverage our strong foundation of strategic industry alliances and relationships to improve the individual stature, market positioning and competiveness of our members.

Together, we can and will serve the needs of the industry while improving the opportunities and prosperity of our members. We invite you to join with us today.

COGA’s Mission is:
